VOTE IN THE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025, GENERAL ELECTION!
POLLS OPEN 7 AM-8 PM
Dear 9th Ward Voter:
This November control of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is at stake. Trump and his billionaire supporters are plotting to eliminate three experienced, fair, and independent Supreme Court Justices from the Court, and replace them with MAGA lackeys willing to undermine our voting rights, reproductive freedoms, labor and environmental protections, and free and fair elections. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN.
Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht have consistently ruled to support the interests of Pennsylvanians.
The 9th Ward Democratic Committee strongly endorses retention of Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. All three are “Recommended for Retention” by the PA Bar Association. IMPORTANT: If you are voting with a mail-in ballot, turn your ballot over to the second page to vote for retention of these three justices.
The 9th Ward Democratic Committee also recommends your vote for the following candidates:
Larry Krasner for District Attorney: In his two terms, Krasner has prosecuted the most serious crimes while working to address the root causes of violence. Murders in Philadelphia have dropped by 25 percent, and overall crime has declined at a rate greater than the national average.
Christy Brady for Controller: Brady has investigated delays in the city’s demolition of dangerous properties, held the city accountable for misuse of gun-violence prevention funds, identified millions of dollars lost in property tax fraud, monitored the city’s Rebuild program, and instituted transparency in the property assessment and appeals process.
*PABA = PA Bar Association; PBA = Phila. Bar Association
